Mr. Jonathan William Ramsay, Clinical Director of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, UK.Mr Jonathan Ramsay has been a consultant urologist since 1988, with a special interest in sperm retrieval and the treatment and investigation of all forms of male fertility. Research includes publications on pregnancy outcomes following surgical sperm retrieval, and processes and outcomes from sperm cryopreservation. He is the clinical leader of the andrology diagnostic laboratory at Hammersmith Hospital, and HFEA license holder at this facility.Expertise: Azoospermia, oligospermia, abnormalities of the male genital tract, unexplained infertility.Research & publications:Current research interests include the relevance of reactive oxygen species in seminal plasma and the role of infection and of antioxidant treatments. Recent clinical work has focussed on fine needle aspiration (FNA) mapping techniques, prior to testicular microdissection (MTESE).
