Zhenfeng Zhang is a Professor of Radiology, Center for Medical Imaging and Imaging-guided Therapy, Sun-Yat Sen University Cancer Center, Guangzhou, Guangdong China.
He obtained his PhD in the USA, at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and did his postdoctoral training at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, Columbia University Medical Center in New York.
His main research focus is the following : 1. Clinical research on low-dose CT screening of early lung cancer; 2. Establishment of cellular culture of circulation tumor cells; 3. Precision evaluation of efficacy for minimally invasive tumor ablation by analyzing circulation tumor DNA via Next-Generation Sequencing; 4. MRI-guided minimally invasive therapy for cancer; 5. Molecular Imaging for Oncology: Gold/I-CT imaging of EGFR/AXL/HER2 in lung cancer/breast cancer; Gd-MRI imaging of EGFR/AXL HER2 in lung and breast cancer; 6. Identification of novel molecular imaging targets for targeted therapy of lung cancer, breast cancer, and hepatocarcinoma.
